There’s a moment when a line lands, or a memory waves at you, and you wonder: Could this be a song?
You don’t need to play guitar or read music.
You don’t need to wait for “inspiration” to strike.
And you definitely don’t need to compete with algorithms or chase perfection.
What you do need?
A willingness to try.
A little curiosity.
And maybe, a simple nudge to help you begin.
Here’s what I’ve discovered, again and again:
The act of turning a true moment, however small, awkward, or ordinary, into a song can shift something inside you.
Maybe you surprise yourself.
Maybe you say something you didn’t know you needed to say.
Sometimes I use AI tools as a collaborator, to help me hear my own words in a new light. The tools don’t write the feelings. They don’t know your late-night longing or the joke you can’t forget. You do.
That’s why I made my new guide, Songstarter.
This guide is about finding out what happens when you give your own stories, poems, and memories a melody: just for you, or for someone you love.
